The best fishing is in the river arm. Kokanee are taking Uncle Larry’s spinners or Apexes 25 feet below the surface. Trout are in the same vicinity but the action is up river. Bank anglers use Power Bait, Power Eggs or Pistol Pete flies for decent action. Rainbow Point, the wood pile and the mud hole are the best spots. An 11.2 pound largemouth was caught by a shore angler with a Kastmaster. Smallmouth bite is good at the south end and the coves near the river arm. (209) 772-8108
