Montana Fish Report

Bass bite is picking up. Trout bite is solid and a good number of five to seven pound trout are being caught. Trout bite is best at the points in the Day Use Area and in the pond. Trollers do well at Hat Island toward the South Shore Marina. Bass are shallow and being caught off Eucalyptus and Lakeview. A trout angler caught a 5.5 pound bass near the south shore. From the north shore, trollers are going to the dam and using yellow grubs. Shoreline anglers are getting catfish near the bridge. (209) 763-5915, (209) 763-5166
