Montana Fish Report

Lake is at 870 feet and there is a lot of debris near the surface. Log booms are in on the north and middle forks to catch the debris. Bass fishing is good with worms and jigs. A good number of fish are on the beds. Spots are spawning. Largemouth and smallmouth bass are staging where the water enters the lake. Look for warmer water. Coho three to four pounds are as deep as 70 feet. Most are smaller. Topline on cloudy days. Go deep on sunny days.   Huntington’s Sportsmen’s Store  (530) 534-8000.
