Despite the unseasonable cold and rainy weather conditions, the striper bite continues to be very good! The line sides are moving into shallower water as the spawning season progresses. Good depths to try are 15 to 30 feet in 40 to 60 feet water. Most are falling for rolling shad, anchovies or herring marinated in Pro Cure scent. Each day their appetite changes. This weeks daily average catch increased from 5 to 8. However, we are seeing more smaller 3 to 5 lb. fish. Lake level remains steady with a surface temperature 68 degrees by afternoon.
