The bite here for bows, kings and kokanee was a little tough this past week; unstable weather along with fluctuating water levels have contributed to this. Rainbows might be the best action and can be found around the 40 foot level hitting small spoons, spinners or trolling flies. Kokanee have moved down to the 50- to 70-foot range and are very scattered. Pods of kokes have been located off Hatch Creek, Big Creek at the buoy line and in Graveyard Bay. Basic kokanee set ups in the color orange have been most productive. Anise, garlic or vanilla scented shoepeg corn have been successful this past week. King salmon seem to have been impacted by lockjaw except for the 10- to 14-inch juveniles that are found at depths from 80- to 120-feet, rolling threadfin shad, pink or glow hoochies or ping bugs working on the kings.
