King Salmon, Kokanee and Rainbow Trout bite remains excellent. The cloudy and cold weather is making King Salmon action sporadic at times. Lots of small fish with a few 2 and 3 pounders mixed in. Our last outing we were working depths between 80 to 120 feet in Middle Bay to Jenkins Hill. Most were falling for Shad Pattern Slim Fins and Rolling Shad. Rainbow Trout are fairly easy to come by, we found bows in the same area as the Kings down 30 to 50 feet. Uncle Larry's Spinners, R&K Hoochies, Slim Fins, Marni Bugs in various colors are working well. Kokanee are a little hard to come by, don't expect to have a 30 or 40 fish day. However, the ones we are catching are from 1.10 to 2.2 pounds. Averaging 16 1/2 inches. The Koks are scattered through Fleming Bay and Middle Bay 30 to 80 feet deep. They too are hitting on the same as the Rainbows including rolling shad. Water temperatures 68 degrees.Bass bite continues to be good. One angler went toward Woods Creek and in two hours caught more than 20 fish on Sunday. Monte Smith (209) 848-2746. Bait Barn (209) 874-3011 Danny Layne (209) 586-2383
