The rainbow bite here is wide open from Woods Creek to the east to Fleming Bay to the west. Big bows are on a tremendous bite. Working the 35- to 40-foot depths at 1.7 MPH with Vance's Slim Fins, Ex-Cel spoons or Shasta Tackle's Paddletail lures, scented with Pautzke's Krill will put one in range of trout to five pounds, with the average bow around 2-1/2 pounds. Late season kokes are schooling off Jenkins Hill at depths of 110 feet. Sling Blade dodgers teamed with your favorite koke lure attracts kokes to 16 inches. Roll small Threadfin Shad at depths from 120- to 140-feet for an occasional king salmon to five pounds. (209) 586-2383
