The campground road and parking areas will remain closed until approximately August 27 for reconstruction and paving.  Access to Indian Creek Reservoir will still be available via a dirt access road on the east side of the reservoir.  Campers should investigate vacancies at nearby Federal, state and locally managed campgrounds, such as Grover’s Hot Springs State Park, Turtle Rock Campground managed by Alpine County, and campgrounds along California State Route 88/89 managed by the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest.  Call 775-885-6000 if before leaving for a trip to Indian Creek in August to check road project closure status.
