A healthy number of three to five pound fish last week were taken from the lake. Orange Power Bait with green sparkle has been the most effective bait from shore. Trolling to depths of 40 feet near the inlet, jetty and north shore with gold lures and/or nightcrawlers also will get trout. Both the creek and the lake this week will get trout plants from the state and the resort. 1-800-992-2260
