River flows are at 11,900 CFS at this time. Fishing has picked up over the past week. Seems like the slump we were in is over. The bite gets going in the late morning, lasting through the afternoon. Look for the best evening fishing in the riffles or immediately below them. Productive flies include but are not limited to #16 Pheasant Tail Nymphs, Micro Mays, Rubber Legs. Even orange egg patterns have been working. Saw a lot of salmon rolling in the Redding area yesterday. Unusual to see so many this early. The Fly Shop (530) 222-3555
