Don Pedro Reservoir Fish Report

With the water temp here on Don Pedro starting to cool (76.4 degrees) the lake is shaping
up for the fall trout bite. Guide Danny Layne said he is seeing numerous trout coming to the net that are over three pounds and 20 inches long.
Fish are holding in Graveyard Bay, off Copper Mountain and Big Oak Island
at depths from 35- to 60-feet. Most productive set-ups have been long lining Ex-Cel shad, Vance’s Slim Fin in Nasty Boy or Cop Car colors or just plan rolling shad cured in Pautzke’s Fire Brine. Danny Layne (209) 586-2383
