Cazbar Saelao of Sacramento caught a 14.6 pound bass on the main body of the lake with a Senko. The bass was 28-3/4 inches with a 21-1/2 inch girth and 10 ounces shy of the lake record. That bass overshadowed a 12.7 pound bass caught by Norbert Gee of Sacramento from the North Shore near the open slips. Bass action has overshadowed trout fishing. Best trout came from Dennis Wojdac caught a 7.15 pound rainbow west of Hat Island while trolling an orange grub. (209) 763-5915, (209) 763-5166
