Best halibut weekend of the season took place last weekend. Action was good from the Bird Cage to the A-Crane. More than a dozen halibut larger than 20 pounds were checked into Oyster Point. Live shiners or frozen herring or anchovies did the trick. There has been striped bass action near Coyote Point from shore and boat. (650) 589-3474; (510) 703-4148
