Flows have increased to 2,500 cfs below the Outlet as the water warms to near 60 degrees. Steelhead to 5 pounds-plus are gorging on the huge abundance of salmon fry from last year’s spawn. Rapala's and small Kastmasters are working for knowledgeable anglers that are trying their luck below Oroville. There may be stripers in the lower river but water levels are such anglers are having difficulty reaching them. Call (530) 534-2307 for updated flows.
