East Walker River Fish Report

The flows on the East fluctuated a bit this week, today it's back down to 31 cfs. The fishing has still been pretty good though with this lower flow lots of fish will probably have moved back into the deeper holes. nymphing with small midge patterns has been the most productive but we have had some good reports on dries as well as streamers. flashback emergers, zebra midges, silver streaks, rainbow warriors, top secret midges and copper johns have all been doing well, below the bridge you can go with a dry/dropper rig with a skwalla or chubby chernobyl on top and a small midge below. On the Nevada side they've still been hitting poxyback stones and rubber leg stones as well as the midges. www.kenssport.com (760) 932-7707
