Almanor Lake Fish Report

Browns and rainbows are in Almanor west for the aquatic insect events which have just started with midges flying around the boat. The bait bite has been improving. There’s a great bite along the causeway near the north shore campgrounds. Several limits of rainbows to 3 pounds are being caught from the bank floating Power Bait off the bottom, suspended roe, or even Salmon eggs.
