The most productive spots continue to be behind the EBMUD boathouse, Rainbow and Blue Heron Point and the launch ramp. Most anglers are using chartreuse or rainbow Power Bait (eggs or worms) with garlic and glitter. Pistol Pete’s and the latest craze, Mouse (mice) Tails get trout. In addition, pink Power Worms under a water bobber has been successful. Blue/silver Kastmasters are also hot right after the plant.
Trollers continue to concentrate in Columbia Gulch and upriver areas and are pulling out some nice Trout. Fish are 10 to 18 feet deep and most boaters are using nightcrawlers behind medium flashers and dodgers. Bass take spinnerbaits near rocky shorelines. (209) 772-8108
