Fly fishers go to Layton Springs or Sandy Point and fish in 15 to 16 feet of water. Anglers average 20 trout per day. Sometimes more and sometimes less. Browns in the 16 to 22 inch range are being caught. Most rainbows are 12- to 14-inches but many go to 23 inches. Bait anglers are on the west shore of McGee Bay fishing in 10 to 20 feet of water. Trollers are in the deeper water of McGee Bay (35 to 40 feet of water). Tasmanian Devils in bright orange are good. Mickey Baron (760) 937-3245
