Trout fishing is outstanding. The main body of the lake along the shoreline holds planted steelhead. First thing in the morning find the fish on the surface. They drop 25 to 35 feet deeper later in the day. Thread nightcrawlers, troll with small hoochies or Apex. Most productive colors are pink. Average fish is 19 to 21 inches. Bass bite is good. They’re still in all three stages of the spawn. Find fish from the beds to deeper water. A variety of lures will work. A lot of bass in the two to four pound range.
