Montana Fish Report

Lake has risen seven feet after the rain. Bass fishing has been good. An 8-1/4 largemouth was caught two weeks ago. Spotted bass are in pre-spawn and largemouth remain deep. Use shaky heads for both. Largemouth are as deep as 40 feet. Spots are 20 to 40 feet with smaller fish in shallow water. Trollers in the main body of the lake get Coho 18- to 22-inches from 65 to 80 feet with Dodgers and hoochies. Smaller fish are shallower.
