Montana Fish Report

Last week’s rain put some color in the water which has allowed the bass to move into shallower water. They aren’t close to spawning mode but in the north end bass are in six to 10 feet. In the south end, find bass from 10 to 25 feet. The water is clearer in the south end. A two-day tournament last weekend was won with an A-Rig with a bag of 56.85 pounds. Big fish of the tourney was 9.8 pounds. Shaky heads and jigs offered slowly along the bottom are effective. Greens and browns are the hot color. Clear Lake Outdoors   (707) 262-5852
