Montana Fish Report

The weather is unpredictable, but the fishing is just getting better with each passing day. If the sun is shining, fishermen are fishing. There is still about 10 inches of ice at the dam, but there is open water to the right and to the left of the dam. There have been reports of open water near Big Cove. The road is good up to the dam, and if you have a four wheel drive, getting around the lake is no problem. Watch out for those patches of ice. Fishermen are using nightcrawlers and/or powerbait (rainbow, orange, and garlic).  (530) 993-4683
