Much of the mega-plants of trout that went in for last week’s derby went uncaught. None of the eight to 10 pounders were hooked. Best spots are the handicap dock, the brush pile. Trollers do best behind the floating restroom. Trout are in the top 15 feet of water early, but go deeper later in the day. (209) 378-2534 209-378-2521
