The lakes were double stocked for the holiday weekend plus Alpers trout were added. Best fishing in the loop is where Rush Creek enters Grant Lake. No. 10 Rapalas account for trout in the three to four pound class. Trollers do best at June going down six colors with flashers and nightcrawlers. Gull is best fished with Thomas Bouyants or Speedy Shiners. It takes five colors of lead core to find fish. Silver Lake is fishing quite well where the creek enters the lake. Closest thing to a sure thing outside of the Rush/Grant opportunity. (760) 648-7756
