Red hot kokanee bite continues here. Kokes are located off the Stevenot Bridge, Carson Cove, Tuttletown Ramp, Rose Island and down south off Bear Cove to name a few areas. Productive water depths seem to be holding at plus or minus 50’ with lure colors of orange, pink or green such as Vance’s orange hoochie or Uncle Larry’s pink tiger or Mad Irishman spinners. Scented Shoe Peg corn working well this past week included garlic, vanilla, kokanee special or anise flavored . Kokanee here on Melones are a solid 14.5 inches and running a pound and a half
