A 1,700 pound plant of trout goes in this week. Trout fishing has been decent. Limits are hard to come by but diligent anglers can get trout. Oaks Point and Bobber Beach are hot spots for those using worm/Power Egg combos. Big fish of the week was an 8.6 trout from Scow Canyon caught by Mabo Shialada of Pinole. Bass fishing is very good. Green pumpkin plastic worms, jerkbaits, spinnerbaits get bass from the shallows from the rock wall to Scow Canyon. Catfish plants begin next week. Surface temperature is 68 degrees.
