Striper action is getting better. As we move into summer, the linesides are feeding more frequently. Clients are enjoying an average daily catch of nine in the 3 to 5 pound class. Lots of fun on ultra lite kokanee rods. Early morning the striped bass are near the surface off shallow points. Then moving into deeper water holding in depths of 20 to 30 feet as the day heats up. Rolling shad or anchovies laced in Pro Cure gel has been very effective. Good areas to try include Wrinkle Cove, the dam, Deer Island and the south arm. Lake surface temps are reaching 80 degrees by noon. Water conditions are very good with little or no debris (209) 599-2023 Bruce Hamby Sierra Sportfishing Bruce@sierrsportfishing.com
