The action here has slowed a little but for those fishing very early or working certain areas will be rewarded with kokanee. Best areas are the dam pocket, the south corner of the spillway and the structure off Glory Hole Point. For the dam and spillway I would target depths from 35' to 55' with typical kokanee gear, (spinners, bugs, hoochies or Sockeye Slamers) in tandem with dodgers such as Sling Blades, 4/0 dodgers or Crystal Basin "Wild Things". For the kokes off Glory Hole Point these fish are at or very near the bottom, getting your presentation in their area is the trick. Effective scent this past week included Pautzke's Fire Corn in pink or Shoepeg Corn scented with either garlic, vanilla, fresh water shrimp or flavored corn with Crawdad scent. (209) 586-2383
