The Lower McCloud River is fishing great mid-day, the dry fishing has been good from 11 am to 4 pm and then right before dark. Size 16 & 14 light cahill’s, adams or ec caddis are working great, but so are beaded nymphs in between hatches. Also october caddis in nymphs and dries can produce. October Caddis working well down river, look for foam lines. On colder days look for BWO or Green Drakes in upper river.www.jacktrout.com, (530) 926-4540
