Union Valley Reservoir Fish Report

Union Valley Reservoir this past weekend was a lake full of activity water skiers, jet skiers, and fisherman. Water temp. ranged from 70 degrees to 74 degrees. Smallmouth bass are active all around the lake first couple hours in shallow water. Fish from 10 inches to 3 pounds class can be had. Fishing dies down as the sun gets overhead and the other activity on the lake begins, then resumes again once the wind brings "Chop" to the lake surface. Topwater first thing in the AM followed by throwing small plactics around the lake, any style you would like to fish them. Great bite continues. Slow for all other species, although one troller earlier in week reported a limit of kokes and one large Mack. Randy Williams Fishing Service (530) 957-3053
