Trollers use Dick Nite copper Red Heads and Needlefish red dot frogs around the island and near Camp 5. lure needs to be 150 feet behind the boat. Fish have been from the top to about 17 feet. Fly Fishing is best on the west side from Eagle Point up to Cow Creek. Flying Ants, Damsels, Ice Cream Cone, Woolly Buggers, Wiggle Tails are best choices. Bank anglers using worms and Power Bait get fish around Eagle Point, Mallard’s Cove and Coot Bay. Lake is 80% full and the boat ramp at lightning tree is very low. Best ramp is at Camp 5.
