East Walker River Fish Report

The East is still running at its typical winter flows of about
23cfs right now and probably will be around that for the duration. We haven't been getting too many reports from the river lately, the weather has been much more winter like lately and it seems to be keeping most anglers away. On days when it does warm up a bit the fishing has been pretty good. The time of day you want to focus on is from about 10 or 10:30am to about 3pm, this is when the best action will be. Mainly some small midges and sometimes some small dries should do the trick. Patterns to try include WD-40's, flashback emergers, micro mayfly, zebra midge, top secret midge, blue winged olive, blue dun and para adams.
