Best bite is mid-morning through mid-day. Brown leeches, burnt orange wooly buggers and large Red-Dog Sure Catch lures get trout for trollers. The east side is fishing great. Minnows arel the abundant food source. Fish are scattered on the west side but plenty of pods to work for trollers. Further north towards Slough Pt to the south side of Pelican Pt: Watch out for humps and bumps ½ mile out from shore between Slough Pt and the south side of Pelican. The fish between Rocky Pt and Youth Camp are mostly holding in 5 to 11 feet of water.
The Springs to Eagles Nest and Black Mountain are holding a lot of nice fish and tui chub minnow imitations (pin minnows working great) are taking more than other lures. Bait fishing is also catching fish. For the most part, that's still working between 8 and up to 12 ft deep including over the deeper haunts off Eagle's Nest and The Springs.
