Catfish bite remains good but best catch of the week was a two pound crappie by John Chamberlain of San Francisco. It was the biggest crappie of the year. He was using a crawdad crankbait in Scow Canyon. Trout are being caught near the Main Recreation Area with Power Bait. Trout are averaging two pounds and anglers are averaging three per rod.
