The weather has been great and the fishing has been better than ever. Sara, Connor, Kennedy, and Trent Wilson of Reno and Las Vegas, NV caught 13 rainbow trout off the shore just north of Lunkers’ Point. They were using nightcrawlers and powerbait. They were approximately 15 to 18 inches long, weighing 1 to 1 1/2 pounds. Fly fishing has been good from shore at Turkey and Crystal Points. Some lures being used are Hoppers, Mayfly, and Prince Nymphs. The roads are good up to and around the lake. The roads are busy with fishermen and people going to get Christmas trees. Please, be careful and share the road. The weather should be good all week, so take a drive, or just go fishing before the snow falls. There is NO ICE on the lake as of yet. (530) 993-4683
