Mackinaw bite is decent 100 to 200 feet down, prime depth is around 150. Troll slowly with dodgers, flashers and large minnows. Large lures can work on occasion. Macks average two to six pounds but an 8 pounder and 10 pounder were caught this week. Hot spots have been Cal-Neva Point, Agate Bay and the Tahoe City shelf. Toplining has been producing rainbows. A 10-pounder was caught this week. Locals trolling smaller plugs near the shoreline are getting cutthroats to 16 inches as well as rainbows and browns. Best spots are Sand Harbor, Deadman Point, Logan Shoals and Zephyr Cove. Blue Ribbon Fishing (530) 544-6552
