The kokanee bite has been wide open but it got tougher mid-week. Best bite is around the island from 47 to 57 feet deep. Kokes from 15 to 18 inches are common. Trout are mixed in around 50 to 60 feet deep around the island and near the east side. For bass there’s a topwater early and late. Plastics work during the day fished outside the weedlines and near rockpiles. Small swimbaits are a good bet. Most bass are small. Some go three pounds or larger.
