Surface water temperature is falling on Don Pedro (75.4 degrees),
which is very good for those looking for big rainbows. Concentrations of two to four pound trout continue to hold in Fleming Bay, Big Creek arm and Middle Bay. With cooling of the surface temp bows are now hitting in the 25 foot range early. Vance's Slim Fin lures in hammered Silver or Gold, Glow Shad or Glitter Shad have been lures of choice this past week, Scent pattern of either sardine, herring, Carp Spit and Pautzke's Krill helps. Trolling these lures at a constant speed of 1.7 mph at depths of 25 to 35 feet early and 35- to 50-feet under a high sky. (209) 586-2383
