Montana Fish Report

Bridgeport has been fishing excellent from boats lately. Lots of boats reporting anywhere from 20 to 70 fish per day. Bait fishing, trolling and fly fishing have all been excellent. Top baits have been Gulp egg clusters, power bait and crawlers, for trolling it's been best with blades and crawlers and blades and ex-cel lures and for fly fishing it's been mainly midging with zebra midges, soft hackles and pheasant tails to name a few patterns. There's been great action in the channels in Buckeye Bay, as well as off of Rainbow Point, and right out in the middle in about 20 feet of water. Tons of fish in the 1 and 2 pound range, with a few showing each day in the 3.5 to 6 pound range. (760) 932-7707
