Trollers are finding trout suspended out in the deeper water. Best results come in 40 to 50 feet of water, fishing with three to four colors of lead. The brighter colors of Needlefish have been working the best, followed by the trout colors. The bait fishing is still a little on the slow side due to the cold water. The best spots for bait fishing have been in the north arm, Sandy Pt, Alligator Pt, and 6-bays. After all the wind, we were finally able to get out and do a little fly fishing. It was very slow until about 10:00 am when a few bugs started hatching. We caught fish over in 6-bays in about 12 to 13 feet of water using Copper Tigers, Copper Zebras, and Red Barons. (760) 935-4301
