Trout, catfish and bass are all becoming more active. Biggest trout of the week was a four-pounder. Trout fishing is best at Cowboy Cove and anywhere north of the Rock Wall. There’s a derby going on through May 31. The $5 donation qualifies anglers at this lake, San Pablo Reservoir, Chabot and Camanche. The leader is 3.59 pounds. Bass are slowly moving into the shallows. Interest them with Senkos or Ratltraps. Catfish are near the rock wall. A 14 pound cat was caught last week. (925) 371-2628
