DIAMOND LAKE: Trout

The lodge does have some of their boat docks set up. If planning on fishing from a boat, the main boat ramp is the only one open. Angling should be good. Angling effort is slow.

Diamond Lake has been stocked with tiger and brown trout. These fish were introduced to help control illegally introduced tui chub. These trout are catch-and-release only and need to be released immediately and unharmed if caught. Follow these catch-and-release tips for reducing fish mortality.
