NEHALEM RIVER: Winter steelhead

The Nehalem is still high and off color as of this writing. The lower river will still take a while to green up while the upper river should come into shape a little quicker. Keep an eye on conditions. Once it drops into shape there should be winter steelhead throughout the fishery. There are no hatchery releases on the mainstem Nehalem, so it is mostly a catch and release fishery.
