Big cats on the prowl at Amador

Big catfish are being caught. The largest was an 18.59 pounder caught by Rynon Catris of Sacramento with a gold Kastmaster. A 15.6 was netted by Jake Crigger using a worm in the middle of the lake. Bass are full of shad. Swim baits and spinner baits are a good bet. Water temperature is close to 80 degrees. (209) 274-4739
