Frenchman Reservoir Fish Report

The water is opening fast at Frenchman Lake. There is open water at Ship’s Cove to the left of the dam and lots of open water at Big Cove. The ice at the dam is breaking up fast and there should be fishable open water there soon. Thomas Gallegos and Cody Owens from Reno caught a limit of nice- sized rainbows at Ship’s Cove using green garlic powerbait. Their fish measured between 14 to 16 inches each.
Gary Bonanno also had a great day at the lake, catching and releasing 15 rainbows at Big Cove. Call us for current lake conditions and well as updates on the fishing
