Montana Fish Report

The river is running at about 35 cfs and the water is a bit green from algae and weeds coming through the dam from the reservoir. Fishing is just so-so these days with most anglers reporting from 3 to 5 fish per day. The best flies seem to be small midges still like copper johns, wd-40's, zebra midges, flashback emergers and rainbow warriors. Best time of day to fish is going to be from about 10am to 3pm or so, depending on the weather.
