Montana Fish Report

The East Walker was bumped up to 41 cfs yesterday and is fishing very well. It seems as though the fish are spread out pretty well as we’ve had some good reports from anglers who are fishing down below the bridge and not just on the upper stretch. We’ve had a couple good reports on streamers and some on dries but the mainstay is still small midges. Pressure has been pretty light but the fish tend to be a bit spooky with the lower flows. Some patterns to try include: zebra midge, wd-40, flashback emerger, midgeling, top secret midge, parachute adams, blue wing olive, humpy, chubby chernobyl, zuddler, jj special.
