Montana Fish Report

Contra Costa Water District has lowered the reservoir for vegetation management and gauge installation.  The reservoir will be lowered to 188 feet from its maximum elevation for nearly 205 feet.  Tules and other vegetation will be controlled, and the gauge will be installed near the dam.  Work is expected to be completed by the end of December, and the reservoir level will be restored.  Trout fishing is good.  Try using a variety of Power Baits or nightcrawlers at the boat ramp area or near the Swim Lagoon. Catfish can be found near Loma Island, Channel Point or the Swim Lagoon. (510) 544-3154
