Almanor Lake Fish Report

Surface temps just broke the 70 degree mark for the first time. And more sunny days are in the forecast. The hex activity is still going off from Bailey Springs to Almanor West and east to Rocky Point, but this activity seems to have peaked. Expect to work for limits, but as the moon wanes fish will be feeding less at night, and more predictable feeding patterns should resume. Fish are still scattered all over the east basin. Surface temps will need to rise more before they will move, and hold in the deeper holes. Doug Neal (530) 258-6732 http://www.almanorfishingadventures.com
