Montana Fish Report

Guide Rick Kennedy continues to take advantage of the unseasonable weather and cash in on mackinaw. On the morning of New Year’s Eve, he and clients began fishing at 7:30 a.m. No sooner did they get the third line out and they had thier first fish on.  It was a 13 pound mack landed by nine-year-old Carter Crean of Monte Sereno. Not long after, seven-year old Caden Seevers landed a 13.5-pound Mackinaw.  Things slowed down after that. After a couple hours Kellan Crean six years old landed a nice 2 pound Mack. All three fish were caught on Pro Troll StingFish covered with Pautzke Krill in 40 to 60 feet of water fishing 20 to 30 feet deep. Rick Kennedy (530) 263-0990.
